Back in 1988, Domaine Chavy-Chouet was tipped as Puligny-Montrachet's 'domaine to watch' by Jasper Morris in The White Wines Of Burgundy, an early promise upon which its hell-raising owner vigneron Hubert Chavy never delivered. But since Hubert passed away in 2014, his son Romaric Chavy has been working hard to reacquire that accolade.
